The reader looking for a deeply-researched, large, academic tome, should perhaps look elsewhere. This is a very brief- though interesting, personal overview of the Scottish King by a family member; which though largely positive, does not overlook the Kings human failings. The book itself is beautifully produced with colour illustrations and a number of appendices including the Declaration of Arbroath. Definitely worth adding to your historical book collection.
